Lake Tekapo Chameleon Stargazing

During this tour, you will share a 90 min astronomy experience with other night sky enthusiasts (up to 12 people), your professional astronomy guide will give you an explanation of the night sky and show you deep sky objects through our powerful 9.25-inch telescope.

You will come to our stargazing location where there is nearly zero light pollution (please note that we don’ t offer shuttle services). Your professional astronomy guide will take you on an astronomy journey, from ancient stories of constellations to science facts, from Greek mythology to Maori legends. You will also see a variety of deep sky objects through our powerful 9.25-inch computerised telescope and our digital telscope. We provide a photography service, your guide will take one individual photo for you with the stars.
